Since 1707, Fortnum’s has supported the British Armed Forces, sending parcels full of home comforts to such historic figures as the Duke of Marlborough, Admiral Lord Nelson, the Duke of Wellington and Winston Churchill .
In the spirit of this tradition and in honour of The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, Fortnum & Mason have created a special United Services Tin, containing Queen Anne tea – named after the monarch in whose reign Fortnum’s began trading – and Clotted Cream Digestives, created especially for this historic year. Fortnum’s has already despatched the tins, which will be presented at the time of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations in June 2012 to 15,000 men and women on active service across the world. The remaining 7,000 tins will be sold by Fortnum’s, and £1 from each sale will be donated to the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association.
Please note, the United Services Tin will be available from May 2012. To register your interest email: email@example.com including your name, contact telephone number and delivery/billing address details and Fortnum & Mason will contact you when available to process your order.
